In 2016, the parishes of St. Joseph’s Camperdown and St. Fiacre’s Leichhardt collaborated together to organise a Eucharistic Procession of Our Lord through the suburbs of Sydney in public witness of the faith. The procession started inside the St. Joseph’s Church and many processed along Parramatta Road finishing up at St.Fiacre’s in the Church with Adoration.
Last year in 2017, the procession was held again by the two parishes and even more people came along with the statue of Our Lady of Fatima. Both parishes are hoping to make this an annual event on the Feast of Corpus Christi (the Body and Blood of Christ).
